Richard Marx may arguably be one of the greatest songwriters in the business.  Not only did he have quite the resume of his own hits, he was the brains behind other major hits since the 1980's.

From his dramatic ballads to his uptempo staples, there isn't anybody who is not familiar with a Richard Marx production.  I always identified with Richard's music since I was a kid growing up in the 90's and "Should've Known Better" is still a regular on my playlist.
